Zumba Style Parent and Child class for CHARITY
On Thursday 1st Dec 6-7pm The Den (Templeogue) and Friday 2nd Dec Victo
ry Centre 6-7pm (Firhouse) Nicole will be holding a Zumba style class for all students and parents. All money raised will go to Jack & Jill and Barnardos Ireland. 7euro adults - 5 euro children - pls can as many as possible come along and support these charities over the xmas period. Tell your friends, and lets have a great class working for a very worthy cause. :)
December 2011 - Springs Contemporary Dance Company - UK
I am delighted to announce that Springs Dance Company will be holding a dance workshop with Steptacular on Saturday 10th December 2011 @ The Victory Centre 1-2pm for Junior students and 2-3.30pm for Senior students. Springs Dance Company is a London based contemporary dance company that tours nationally and internationally. Springs Dance Company also launched its apprenticeship scheme in 2002. The... apprenticeship scheme is an intensive dance course that focuses on the creation, performance and teaching of dance work. It is a unique opportunity for twelve dancers each year to learn from Springs' extensive professional experience, and to form their own company: elevate. Many young Irish dancers have been excepted for apprenticeship with this professional dance company, so it would be a great platform for anyone interested in persuing a career in the arts or for anyone who just loves to dance - you will be learning from one of the best dance companies in the UK at present.
As well as the workshop, Steptacular will also be attending Springs Christmas show at Myles Hall -Wesley College - Dundrum on Sunday 11th December at 7pm. We will organise a coach for this trip - and will pick up at Templeogue and Firhouse to accomadate all students. Times for pickups TBC. The show is called "Journey of the Magi" and its a sparkling production of dance, theatre, song and poetry for all the family.

October 16th 2011:Steptacular students will perform in the 1st heat of Showzizkidz COMP taking place at The OLYMPIA THEATRE
July 2011: Kellie Herbage, Zoe walsh and Yvonne Smith will be competing for a place in the All Ireland Finals Leinster School of Music Awards of excellence after securing a place in the regional finals.
June 26th 2011: Steptacular students will perform at The Dundrum festival - main stage at 3pm
June 4th 2011: Steptacular Stage School will perform show in Hamleys toy store Dundrum - Time 1pm.
May 28th 2011: All students will perform in our end of yr show "We Will Rock You" at The Victory Centre - Main Auditorium.
May 14th/21st June 4th: Laura Mcdonagh will be doing Hiphop and Glee workshops in Hamleys toy store - Dundrum at 2pm on above dates. All students welcome to attend.
